Receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Carlow College in Pennsylvania and completing further studies at the Maryland Institute College of Fine Arts and the University of Southern California, she worked as an art teacher in public and private schools, becoming a full time artist in 1972. Presently a Master teacher at the Art Students League in Colorado Springs, she juries many art shows and gives demonstrations and workshop in the United States and abroad.
